Iraq Had WMDs

Voted for the 2002 authorization for the Iraq war. In her 2002 floor speech, she stated that “intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al-Qaeda members” (Oct. 10, 2002) [1] [2]

"It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons. Clinton voted for the Patriot Act in 2001 and for its renewal in 2006. [[9]]

On Iran

In comments from 2007, Clinton promised to obliterate Iran if it attacked Israel. "If Iran were to launch a nuclear attack on Israel what would our response be? I want the Iranians to know that if I'm the president, we will attack Iran. That's what we will do. There is no safe haven. Whatever stage of development they might be in their nuclear weapons program [the one the UN and all 16 US intelligence agencies say doesn't exist and is not planned] in the next 10 years during which they may foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them." "I so hope we are able to get a deal next week that puts the lid on Iran’s nuclear weapons program,” she said. “Even if we do get such a deal, we will still have major problems from Iran. They are the world’s chief sponsor of terrorism. They use proxies like Hezbollah to sow discord and create insurgencies to destabilize governments. They are taking more and more control of a number of nations in the region, and they pose an existential threat to Israel." [[11]]

Clinton's statements above are a lie concering the nature of the Iranian Nuclear program: Fact: US and Israeli intelligence both say Iran’s nuclear program has no military component. No evidence whatever suggests Tehran wants one. Plenty indicates otherwise.[[12]]

Of the execution of Libyan dictator Muammar Qaddafi, Clinton cracked a joke, saying "We came, we saw, he died." [[13]]

On Climate Change

Clinton has accepted the science of climate change, saying in 2014: "The science of climate change is unforgiving, no matter what the deniers may say. Sea levels are rising; ice caps are melting; storms, droughts and wildfires are wreaking havoc. … If we act decisively now we can still head off the most catastrophic consequences." [[14]]

"Ask many of these candidates about climate change, one of the defining threats of our time, and they’ll say ‘I’m not a scientist’. Well, then, why don’t they start listening to those who are?” 2015 [[15]]

However, despite this statement and overall strong rhetoric on addressing climate change, there are doubts whether Clinton will follow through on her tough talk. These concerns have coalesced around the news that the Clinton campaign has hired a former Keystone Pipeline lobbyist to work on her campaign as a consultant. It is worth noting that the lobbyist, Jeffrey Berman, worked for the Obama campaign in his primary victory over Clinton in 2008. [[16]]

During the 2016 election, from April 2016 to July 2016, Clinton raised 45 million dollars, breaking the previous record. Clinton's Super PAC, Priorities USA Action, has pulled in 15.6 million dollars, with 3 million of that coming from billionaires Haim Saban and George Soros. Two other Super PACS supporting Clinton have combined to bring in 7.7 million dollars, with Soros donating another million dollars to one of the Super PACs, American Bridge.
