On Climate Change
Jindal has acknowledged that climate change is real and is impacted by human activity. However, he has frequently attacked efforts to address the issue of climate change, especially by the Obama administration.
“For some on the left, climate change is simply a Trojan horse. It’s a way for them to come in and make changes to our economy that they would otherwise want to make...It’s an excuse for the government to come in and try to tell us what kind of homes we live in, what kind of cars we drive, what kind of lifestyles we can enjoy. Jindal went farther down the climate denier path, saying, despite his unwillingness to take any action as a result of the scientific consensus that climate change is happening and human caused, “The reality is, right now, we’ve got an administration —the Obama administration — that are science deniers when it comes to harnessing America’s energy resources and the potential to create good-paying jobs.” 2014 [[3]]
