"Defense"

etc

I have grown to dislike the phrase "Wall Street". I offer two possible replacement names: 1. War Street (since this street has the headquarters of many of the major stock exchanges on it, and the stock in military/armaments production is the main business of many of the most "successful" businesses whose stock one may trade on these exchanges). 2. Thrall Street (since "thrall" rhymes with "Wall", is a synonym of "slave" or "slavery", and the biggest and most successful "businesses" whose stocks are traded in the various exchanges on this street are either of military armaments businesses or financial investment firms which are all scrambling to earn more profits from the continuous decline of the value of the American dollar due to the Federal government's eternal habit of spending more dollars every year than the Feds can generate through taxation. 3. In his farewell address on 17 JAN 1961, outgoing President Eisenhower warned our nation to beware of the dangers of our growing Military-Industrial complex: "In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist."
